Young Finance Scholar Accelerated Program
The Young Finance Scholar (YFS) Accelerated Program offered by the New York Institute of Finance is a one-week intensive training program for pre-college students interested in finance and business. Taught by experienced Wall Street experts and business leaders, the program focuses on developing strong financial and entrepreneurial acumen. With a streamlined curriculum consisting of five comprehensive lectures, the YFS Accelerated Program provides high-potential scholars with essential financial knowledge and business skills for their future academic and professional endeavors.

Young Sustainability Scholar Accelerated Program
The Young Sustainability Scholar (YSS) Accelerated Certification Program is designed to provide comprehensive learning and practical experience in the field of sustainability. Through a series of live lectures, workshops, and a group project, participants will gain knowledge and critical skills in key sustainability themes such as sustainable development goals, climate change, decarbonization, green economy, biodiversity, and social equity.

Frequently Asked Questions
You can register and pay for the program through our online payment portal that accepts bank transfer, check, or debit/credit card. We also accept financing with Affirm, a loan service, that offers a monthly payment plan for US & Candian purchases only.
All the class and presentation will be on Zoom. In the Zoom meeting, you are able to interact with the instructors and classmates through audio and chatbox.
We will record the session and share the recording with the student. The student needs to let us know in advance if he/she cannot be in attendance, otherwise it would be an unexcused absence and would affect his/her certificate.
There will be no exam, but a final group presentation. The student will need to attend all the classes in the session and complete the group presentation.
Yes. The student will get a certificate of completion for completing the program (and an award certificate for group project presentation).
Reference letter from NYIF after graduating from the program; Qualify for YFS Advanced program; Get invited to gain volunteer experience in the non-profit Global PAI Project; Be eligible for various NYIF scholarships.
NYIF Accelerated programs offer a shorter (1-week) timeframe compared to full-length NYIF Certification Programs (2 weeks). They have a rigorous curriculum, condensing coursework and requirements, making them ideal for students with busy schedules who want to complete their program quickly.
A. Cancellation or Deferral by Candidate
1. Withdrawal 6 or more weeks before the first day of class: 100% refund of tuition fee*; Deferral to another batch without fee.
2. Withdrawal within last 6 weeks before the first day of class: No refund and no deferral allowed.
*Note: For all refunds due to cancellation by candidate, a US$ 200 shall be deducted for program application and refund processing fee.
B. Cancellation of Candidature on Disciplinary grounds
The YFS Program has been designed for accelerated learning and a distinguished early career development program for young, bright talents. To maintain the decorum and prestige of the program, NYIF expects all participating scholars to demonstrate exemplary behavior and model conduct during various sessions and interactions in the program. At all times, scholars will be required to respect data privacy and strictly avoid any cyberbullying and harassment activities towards their fellow scholars or participants in the program.
In the event, a scholar is reasonably found in breach of good behavior, a disciplinary action will be taken, and the candidature could be cancelled. Candidates under such disciplinary cancelations shall not be entitled for any refunds or reimbursement
